Monday: ‘Noodle Day’ - Organic noodles, coconut or olive oil, cheese (dairy & dairy-free options), peas, capers, cucumber & carrot sticks, hummus*
Tuesday: ‘Rice & Beans’ - Short-grain brown rice, black beans blended with steamed veggies, cumin & coriander, avocado slices, mild salsa or diced tomatoes
Wednesday: Stone Soup - Children are asked to bring in a vegetable to add to our soup. Vegetable stock*, red or green lentils, thyme, rosemary, sage. We also share the whole wheat bread we baked together on Monday
Thursday: Make-Your-Own Pizza - Pizza crust* or flatbread, vegetable sauce*, cheese (dairy & dairy-free options), selection of vegetable toppings
Friday: Sushi & Miso - Kid-friendly homemade version: sushi rice, rice vinegar, nori (roasted seaweed), carrot, cucumber, avocado, soy sauce (soy-free option available), cooked fish (optional), miso broth*
