Good Morning Poem

Just one more week until our playschool year begins!

We start each morning with a circle and a poem to welcome us and set our intentions for the day. If you child comes home with parts of this rhyme, here it is in its entirety.

Dear Friends we have gathered around for our day.

We meet on our farm to grow and to play.

We are welcomed by the earth, the sea, and the sky.

To the soil, the plants, and each other we try

to love and to care the whole day through.

Good morning to you, and you, and you.

There is no pressure for your child to learn this by heart. It will be said everyday at 9am and usually kids pick up on the actions before they say the words. If you are around and would like to join us for our morning circle, you would be more than welcome!
